16.15.6 self portrait

Part 1:

What brought me to photography is one that i love to take pictures and i love seeing others pictures. I have learned a lot about photography for example i learned different ways of making a picture better. I also learned how to see pictures in different ways i learned that its not just a picture theres a meaning behind the pictures. Photography has helped me learn more about my emotions and how to show them in a picture not just by smiling etc. A challenge for me this semester was trying to come up with ways of taking a picture, how to actually have it have a meaning or the setting i would take it in. My favorite project was the planets. I would redo the cloning and levitation because i don't like how they came out and i feel like i could do better.

Part 2:
In my final project i have used nature, colors, emotions, clouds and cloning. The color blue to me reminds of just being calm. Me holding my own hand represents that i know myself and that i depend on myself. The cloning of me hiding my face represents that i don't like to show my emotions, i don't like to tell people my problems, i hide my emotions from others. The clouds represent all my hopes and dreams. The forest represents nature and Oregon for me, i love Oregon and i feel like nature is important thing in our lives. Cheerleading represents the energy that i have and it represents happiness for me. It represents happiness because cheer is something i love and enjoy to do. When someone comes out of seeing my images i want them to feel the emotions that the pictures had or for them to come out having their own meaning to the pictures because what the pictures mean to me isn't going to be the same meaning to others.

Part 3:
What i would tell a photography one student in order to succeed is to try to get the pictures done in time because it can be hard to catch up. Also that they should pay attention in class because the directions can be a bit confusing and hard to remember if you aren't paying attention.
